Faraone Casa d’Aste on Via Montenapoleone is preparing for its second and final annual in-person event, on November 27th at the Portrait Milano Hotel. Buyers can also participate via streaming app Myfaraone, by phone, or through written offers. A lineup of sought-after lots will be presented in three different sessions, with one in the morning dedicated to luxury goods and two in the afternoon featuring jewellery and watches.
AFTERNOON SESSION: ROLEX AND PATEK COLLECTION WATCHES
Given the recent uptick in interest for luxury watches, not only from collectors and second-hand dealers but also from a new audience of millennials and Gen Z, increasingly active on web platforms, the highlights of this section will be Rolex and Patek Philippe, known in the market as ‘Safe Choices’ due to their high demand and consistently increasing value.
Rolex Daytona wristwatch
The watch lineup will be led by a Daytona Cosmograph Big Red 6263, the latest reference with a manual Valijoux 727 movement, argentè dial, stainless-steel case and oyster bracelet with screw-down pushers and an additional original stainless-steel bezel, allowing the owner to transform it into a model 6265. It comes with its box and papers and has been in the same owner’s hands since 1986.
Patek Philippe watch
Next are two Patek Philippe watches: an Ellipse ref: 3598, rare in this more oval shape with an 18 k yellow gold case and a crocodile strap with original gold pin buckle, featuring an ultra-thin 16250 movement, the thinnest ever made by the Swiss Maison, accompanied by its original case. Followed by a Golden Ellipse ref 3585 with a squarer shape 18 k yellow gold case.
Still under the Patek Philippe brand, a Gondolo ref 5009, like the previous ones in perfect condition, with the box and papers, featuring a yellow gold case, crocodile strap, and original pin buckle.
Vacheron Constantin Hispahan diamond watch
The watch selection continues with a rare Vacheron Constantin Malte Hispahan collection watch in 18 k yellow gold with a full diamond bracelet, accompanied by its original box and archive extract.

Alongside, there are Bulgari lots, including a Tubogas bracelet from the Monete collection, dating back to the late ‘80s, featuring Gallia Massalia silver coins, a topaz Pyramid pendant with a chain, earrings from the Nuvola collection, various rings, and an open bangle in yellow gold and stainless-steel.
Platinum and diamond ring
In addition to branded jewelry by Van Cleef & Arpels, Buccellati, Cartier, Pomellato, Sabbadini, and Faraone, there are niche pieces like an animal themed Parure Frascarolo in yellow gold, enamel, diamonds, including a sautoir, a convertible bracelet into a brooch or pendant, a lighter, and a lipstick case.

The closing lot of the auction, in the afternoon session, is a Cuvee Dom Pérignon Millesime Jeroboam (3L), numbered 393 and part of a limited series from 1993 created for the new millennium celebration. People today don’t fit into boxes and categories. In our individual ways, we are interested in diverse themes, products, and the challenges that face our world today. Lifestyle Insider is a showcase of all that is beautiful and luxe. Behind every creation, is a designer, chef, entrepreneur, or a design maison. I have delved into my own appreciation for objetsde luxe that I have admired over the years – be it a love of fashion from the world’s top Parisian and Italian fashion maisons and their ’90s muses, or the care that goes into sari and Indian textile collections in my own family. Growing up on four continents, as the daughter of a former Indian Ambassador, I’ve seen a remarkable array of historic places and met a myriad people. My aim is to bring my world view into this website, a curation of what I find particularly stunning, unique, and newsworthy.
It’s an exciting time for brands all over the world. With change comes opportunity. With the global ‘reset’ and uncertainty on many fronts, there is a chance to write a new script. Let’s be those pioneers.
