For the first time in India, ONLY brings a universe of cute and fun characters illustrated by young Shanghai-based artist Ton Mak, featuring characters from Flabjacks that are unique, colourful, and are full of life. A world of chubby odd folks and quirky inanimate things brought to life, the limited-edition collection of casualwear is an extension of this world with quirky prints against street style silhouettes for women. The characters featured have been designed to resonate with everyday life.

Flabjacks is a universe of cute and fun characters illustrated by Ton Mak. What began as escapist doodles quickly turned into its own fully formed world - a world of unique and odd folk, and of quirky inanimate thingymajigs brought to life! Ton grew up nomadically between New Zealand and United Kingdom. Initially introduced to art as a form of therapy by her mother at an early age, she has been drawing and painting for as long as she could remember. She graduated from University College London with a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology. To date, Flabjacks has collaborated with top brands such as Gucci, Swatch, Apple, Nike and making its distinctive and colourful mark throughout Asia, Europe and the US.

A bit about me:
A luxury and fashion journalist with 25 years of experience in publishing and magazine journalism, I have edited some of India’s top fashion and luxury magazines. I got my BA in Comparative Literature from UC Berkeley, and went on to receive my Master’s in English and French from the University of Strasbourg, France. I have also studied German and Film. I live in Gurugram, India, and look forward to once again exploring our world with a new-found freedom.
