Call Chotu Diner & Bar
Conceptualised as a cloud kitchen in 2019 that took the city’s online ordering by storm, serving a million customers from its six locations across Delhi NCR, Call Chotu recently opened their first offline space: Chotu’s All Day Diner & Bar, with swings to kick back in, and watch the world go by. Whether for a quick breakfast, an after work unwind session, or simply a leisurely lunch, Chotu’s Diner hits the right spots.
Chef Chiquita Gulati, Co-Founder, Call Chotu Diner & Bar
The brainchild of Chef Chiquita Gulati along with husband and partner Sumit Gulati who is a third generation restaurateur from the family that runs the legendary Gulati Restaurant at Pandara Road since 1959, Chotu’s Diner brings all the classics and popular comfort food from across the globe, that Delhiites love to eat.
“We launched Call Chotu five years ago, with the vision to have an offering that caters to all tastes from the khichdi fans to the momo lovers, we included something for everyone, says Chef Chiquita Gulati. “Today, with the launch of the Chotu’s All Day Diner and Bar we take this offering two steps further bringing our unique spin on popular dishes to the table. We worked with master mixologist – Mr Yangdup Lama to create signature cocktails that will pair well with our menu and that we are sure our guests will absolutely love! Our menu is a celebration of comfort, featuring everything from classic Indian dishes to mouth-watering Asian cuisines and an array of freshly baked breads. Whether you're dining solo, with friends, or with family, there's something for everyone to savour at our diner.”
Sev Puri by Call Chotu Diner & Bar
Introducing a live bakery that churns out their signature ‘light as air’ ladi pav and kulchas every hour, the diner evokes a sense of comfort and casual enjoyment. With a menu that incorporates street food favourites from across the country such as Chaat, Momos, Kebabs, Pav, and Rolls, there are also dishes such as Van wala Chinese to Asian Stir Fries, Thai Curries, Naan-Pizzas, Tacos to their popular Mummy ki Macaroni, Restaurant wala Indian Khana, and Home-Style Comfort food.
The hero at Chotu’s Diner is the Mumbai Vada Pav, a dish that was introduced to Delhi by Chef Chiquita Gulati over a decade ago, who then stepped-up the game with a variety of signature Pav Burgers such as the mouth-meltingly soft Galouti Pav, both of which were tried by us – we came away impressed.
Rosy Aunty ke Veg Momos perfectly blend fresh vegetables and spices wrapped in delicate dough. These momos bring the flavours of the streets right to your doorstep.
Mumbai Pav Bhaji is a classic Mumbai Pav Bhaji, where buttery pav meets a spicy, flavorful bhaji. This dish promises an authentic taste of Mumbai's street food culture.
Kulche Chholey is a traditional North Indian favorite. Soft kulchas are served with spicy chholey, making for a hearty and satisfying meal. Kurkure Veg Momo is an innovative, crispy twist on the classic veg momo. These momos have a crunchy exterior, providing a delightful texture. The Gulab Jamun are soft, syrup-soaked dumplings that melt in your mouth, offering a traditional Indian dessert experience.

Lifestyle Insider is a showcase of all that is beautiful and luxe. Behind every creation, is a designer, chef, entrepreneur, or a design maison. I have delved into my own appreciation for objetsde luxe that I have admired over the years – be it a love of fashion from the world’s top Parisian and Italian fashion maisons and their ’90s muses, or the care that goes into sari and Indian textile collections in my own family. Growing up on four continents, as the daughter of a former Indian Ambassador, I’ve seen a remarkable array of historic places and met a myriad people. My aim is to bring my world view into this website, a curation of what I find particularly stunning, unique, and newsworthy.
It’s an exciting time for brands all over the world. With change comes opportunity. With the global ‘reset’ and uncertainty on many fronts, there is a chance to write a new script. Let’s be those pioneers.
